She/ Her

Naturopathic Doctor

Throughout her life, naturopathic medicine has played a defining role in Dr. Jess' health journey. After being diagnosed with PCOS as a teenager, she experienced firsthand how transformative integrative care could be. Not only did her symptoms improve, but it was the first time she felt truly seen by a healthcare provider.

Knowing early on that she wanted to become a naturopathic doctor, Dr. Jess completed an Honours degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology before earning her Doctor of Naturopathy at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Ontario. Drawn to reproductive health from the very beginning, she sought out every opportunity to deepen her expertise, immersing herself in topics such as PCOS, periods, fertility, endometriosis, and PMS. During her internship year, she was selected for additional training in reproductive health and fertility, further solidifying her commitment to this area.

Over the years, Dr. Jess noticed significant gaps in public knowledge about reproductive and sexual health. Gaps that often leave people feeling confused, unsupported, or ashamed. This realization fueled her passion for research and education, inspiring her to share evidence-informed, inclusive information about menstrual cycles, vaginal health, hormones, sexual wellness, and all the topics we should’ve learned but never did.

She also witnessed, time and time again, how often people are dismissed when seeking help for reproductive or sexual health concerns, especially issues deemed “sensitive” or “taboo.” As a queer, sex-positive, and shame-free practitioner, Dr. Jess aims to change that narrative. Her mission is to help people feel informed, empowered, and deeply connected to their bodies so they can live healthier and more pleasure-filled lives.

In her clinical practice, Dr. Jess takes an evidence-based, patient-centered approach, integrating research, clinical experience, and individual goals and values. She prioritizes in-depth history taking, targeted lab testing, and root-cause assessment to offer comprehensive, individualized treatment. Her practice is dedicated to reproductive and hormonal health, allowing her to provide focused, up-to-date, and highly specialized care.

After building a busy practice in Toronto, Dr. Jess is now dual licensed and excited to bring this support to folks in BC.

Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Jess loves to travel, dance, hike, and explore new cuisines wherever she goes. She also loves to host wellness events for her patients and the greater community. She's the creator of Sapphic Wellness and co-creator of The PCOS Circle, both focused on community, empowerment and wellness.
